2008 our ADSNA conference will be held at the Archdiocese, Tower

news! The S.R.A.C.A (Sterilizing Research and Advisory Council
of Australia) will be joining our conference this year. The information
and knowledge that can be shared between these two associations
will be so beneficial to our members.

Conference in July 2009 in Brisbane Australia – mark this

- The Australasian
day surgery conference was well attended by about 550 delegates.
Ten of them were from Tasmania and a lot from New Zealand. It
was a fantastic conference and the networking was phenomenal amongst
the nurses, anaesthetists and surgeons. Our guest speaker, Dr
Dick De Jong, was from the Netherlands and he gave us an insight
into day surgery in his country. Thank you to the Tassie delegates
for all their help with setting up the ADSNA stand and manning
it at tea breaks and lunchtimes. It was a very popular stand and
we had a ball meeting everyone. A huge thank you to Linda for
all her help and dedication towards the financial end of things
at the conference.
- Just a reminder,
that all best practice guidelines will be reviewed throughout
2008 to ensure they are all updated for release at the International
Conference in Brisbane.

required! The Day Surgery Australia
Journal is a very important part of our
ADSNA membership and we need your help. Each
state is required to submit two articles for each publication (there
are three journals per annum). Please help support your state and
forward articles to htaylor3@bigpond.com.au.
Any topics are welcome and we are trying to encourage the sharing
of knowledge and information in the day surgery setting. |
